I saw Gerd Müller several times playing for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers at the end of his career. His name was always spoken with reverence.

Just found out about Sean Lock. RIP.

Being cheap is expensive (snoball), Wednesday, 18 August 2021 19:40 (four years ago)

Gutted about Sean Lock. I saw him do an amazing show, completely by accident, at Edinburgh in 1995 - I was only seventeen, and walked in because they were giving away free 20 packs of Marlboro Lights (!) over the festival that year. Anyway - he was fucking hilarious, and then I spent the next several years wondering who the hell he was until he popped up on QI.

Ignoring life and watching "8 Cats" videos on Facebook has been my greatest pandemic guilty pleasure.
