Does anyone know what kind of sport is played on that court in the right-hand side? Doesn't look like tennis (no net) or basketball (no hoop).

buildings and tv aerials look extremely british to me. but the amount of trees outside the town (an entire hill!) seems wrong for the UK.

I think the only bit of Britain where cities could look remotely like that would be South Wales

It just looked like the Welsh valleys, I went out with a girl from Aberdare and have family friends from Llantwit Fardre so I'm reasonably familiar with the area. The cities are a bit far out of the valleys to look like that and I know cherry blossom has played fast and loose with the definition before so I started gising the towns. The beige and blue flats were in the 2nd image for Pontypridd. The train station must be just out of shot

I think I have significantly underestimated how far away Caracas is from the water.

so we're on a mountain, the sun is setting behind us = the city is to the east of the mountain and further away there's this very big white fortification type thing with a mountain/hill inside of it? Intriguing and no idea.

They’re very common as transport in mountainous cities, but mostly inland, which makes me wonder whether this could be a tourist one.

That white fortification/palace/building complex in the distance must be something famous, no? Why can't I find anything about it

It was one of those articles about funiculars that made me think it could be Hong Kong...looks like the terrain and whatnot is very similar to the Ngong Ping 360.
