i feel sad belgium lost. i really wanted them to win it.

italy are a great team to watch, though. i don't mind if they win the whole thing.

(xp) Reluctantly if you ask me. They've got all sorts of traditional biases against Italy and Germany which mean they are much less likely to acknowledge they are good. Plus Italy have hardly any players with Premier League sides so guys like Shearer have no clue about them. Rio Ferdinand was all *pulling a face* "Yes, I know they're unbeaten in 30 matches but do you think they can actually win the tournament?".
