Guess the City

By the door, I mean.

The headless man outside the cabin is taking a photo of something that looks like it could be used for gold panning. I'd say in general there's more of a "pioneer"/western frontier feel to the place (i.e., not the northeast where the emphasis would be more on colonial-era history, I think). Possibly Alaska, Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, etc. This is more of a stretch, but the way the people outside are dressed also looks ~western US~ to me

Given it's set to 64 and what everyone is wearing, that machine is probably functioning as a heater. I don't think the ropes are there to put her on display, she just works there and you're not supposed to touch anything behind the ropes

an empty parking lot in the Summer, possible ski slope on the right?

If that's a ski slope, could be the Appalachian mountains since the trees and buildings suggest modest elevation. Maybe somewhere in TN or NC?

swimming pool in an industrial estate, narrows it down a tad.

the buildings look a little on the tall side for the west, so i'm cautiously going to say appalachia or maybe vermont/maine if that's skiing stuff (skeptical about that).

hmm, maybe the "amish" hat was a clue and this is the Poconos?

I think so too, though I can't find the exact location of the photo. If you squint enough, that trolley map says "Gatlinburg Trolley".

Does anyone know what kind of sport is played on that court in the right-hand side? Doesn't look like tennis (no net) or basketball (no hoop).

buildings and tv aerials look extremely british to me. but the amount of trees outside the town (an entire hill!) seems wrong for the UK.

I think the only bit of Britain where cities could look remotely like that would be South Wales

It just looked like the Welsh valleys, I went out with a girl from Aberdare and have family friends from Llantwit Fardre so I'm reasonably familiar with the area. The cities are a bit far out of the valleys to look like that and I know cherry blossom has played fast and loose with the definition before so I started gising the towns. The beige and blue flats were in the 2nd image for Pontypridd. The train station must be just out of shot
