England have been pretty explicit that they are aiming to Portugal their way to the title, they’re playing in a way where Phillips and Rice are the key players and Sancho/Foden etc stay on the bench. They’re doing it well so far, but yeah it’s fucking boring and I think English players still have an overall lower level of touch and precision than the majority of those from other European countries.
