de Boer is shit, true, but you are under selling them, de ligt was great before this, wijnaldum, depay, Dumfries and malen coming through, they have a core of real talent..de jong walked this tournament till today and it is just the worst person to get sent off...they haven't performed well today but it could have been very different

Czech manager looks like one of my favourite musicians (Craig Fortnam) so I'm happy

Wijnaldun and Depay are good players but I've never thought they were that good.

the czechs were organised but hadn't done much before the sending off, depay and winaldum are as good as anyone in the Czech side and they've been good in the tournament, getting goals

yeah I strongly disagree on Memphis. The fact that he's the focal point of the Dutch attack is the biggest indictment of their offensive talent at the moment. He's a decent player but I suspect he'll be found out pretty quickly at Barcelona

The two English pundits seemingly disappointed that a 'big (footballing) nation' have gone out. Nigel de Jong is different class to these clowns.

this is what i kind of feared for the dutch. in the group stage, they played against underwhelming teams. they looked great against inferior teams. the czechs did okay in the group stage, considering they barely squeaked into the next round, against teams of varying quality (bad to okay teams). in the end, both teams were pretty evenly matched, i think. dumfries played well throughout the entire tournament.

the red card changed the pace of the game in the czechs' favour. i feel like this czech team is also pretty evenly matched against denmark, but i don't expect it to be a high scoring game. hopefully it's not a boring one.
