I always ensure my legs are freshly ironed and shaved before I pack them, too.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 10:50 (twenty-two years ago)

That doesn't quite work.

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 11:05 (twenty-two years ago)

"caucasion, 6 foot three, moustache" "that's an awfully big moustache"

Robbie Lumsden (Wallace Stevens HQ), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 11:07 (twenty-two years ago)

I know! My legs are all hot after I've ironed them and so I get tons of razor nicks!

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 11:08 (twenty-two years ago)

No, that doesn't work either. Anyone knows that you get nicks when the skin is cold.

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 12:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I fear that the chilly north has turned the Wegie London expats into frightful pedants.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 12:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't think that's fair. there's still a lot that gets by them.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 12:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, I'm a twat.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 12:43 (twenty-two years ago)

but jerry you live in south london

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 12:56 (twenty-two years ago)

That doesn't quite work.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 13:02 (twenty-two years ago)

let's not be pedantic.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 13:02 (twenty-two years ago)

RJG - Cook - Cozen - anyone else

I think we can assume Tracer means this evening. I have lost his mobile number. Can anyone make it? I finish work at six.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 14:25 (twenty-two years ago)

"fear that the chilly north has turned the Wegie London expats into frightful pedants"

Wegie? Is that when yer knickers get all scrunched up in yer bum?

smee (smee), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 14:33 (twenty-two years ago)

No, you are confusing it with a Glasgow FAP.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 14:38 (twenty-two years ago)

In Glasgow FAP means Fill Ass Pants

Mooro (Mooro), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 14:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Well it doesn't mean random ILXors getting together for a drink, that's for sure!

smee (smee), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 14:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm trying, smee.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 14:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Really?

smee (smee), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes I meant today!

I can get to Bar 10 by 7 o'COCK. I didn't bring my mobile with me anyway so we're going to have to just do it!

Madchen why would you do all that grooming if you're not meeting me?

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I WILL BE THERE

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't think I will be. Supposed to be going to see Multiplies etc I think, in between packing and going for drink with my dad. TOO MUCH TO DO.

I might be able to make it briefly. Call me, someone. Anyone.

Ally C (Ally C), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:19 (twenty-two years ago)

I think you should, got for drink (lots) with your dad.

I have not been keeping up.

the bluefox, Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:22 (twenty-two years ago)

OK, pf.

And where the hell is this Bar 10, anyway?

Ally C (Ally C), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Actually I may skip the gig. Like I said. Call.

Ally C (Ally C), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:31 (twenty-two years ago)

It's opposite the Lighthouse, on Mitchell Lane.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Bring your dad along.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:32 (twenty-two years ago)

sorry tracer dude, if this was tomorrow I'd totally come but I'm signed up to see alasdair roberts tonight.

cozen (Cozen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Tracer: because I am going to a posh hotel in a glamorous foreign metropolis with Ally C tomorrow. I will shave my legs for you some other time.

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Alternative answer: because my legs are a forest

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Shaving your legs takes how long? 10 mins?

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:57 (twenty-two years ago)

quickest deforestation ever.

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 15:59 (twenty-two years ago)

we should have another glasgow FAP.

cozen (Cozen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 16:00 (twenty-two years ago)

What a great idea.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 16:01 (twenty-two years ago)

It takes about 10 minutes just for the bath to run. While that is happening, I apply wash my face and apply a face pack. Then I shave my legs, wash hair ect. Then I get out of the bath and do other girlie stuff like paint my toes and moisturise my elbows.

I also have to pack. I'm leaving work now, bye!

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 16:24 (twenty-two years ago)

I changed my mind. Tracer has been fapped. He seemed surprised that I was keeping an eye on the footie.

I thought of another one - The Damned can either be singular or plural.

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 21:37 (twenty-two years ago)

How come we couldn't stop talking about hookers?

p.s. I don't think the 38 actually runs at night.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Glasgow buses aren't something I've ever thought it was worth the trouble learning about. You rented a taxi?

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I am going to regret this, isn't I?

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:14 (twenty-two years ago)

I hired a hooker.

Ally C (Ally C), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:17 (twenty-two years ago)

hookah
snuka
...

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:18 (twenty-two years ago)

No, I hired a damn pedlar to carry me home on his back. He knifed a few people on the way who were singing too loud.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:21 (twenty-two years ago)

we should have talked about hookahs.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:24 (twenty-two years ago)

There's a hippie hookah place off Kilmarnock Road near the shopping center if you really wanna know. I don't even know what that means either but I swear it's there.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:28 (twenty-two years ago)

We have Tchai Ovna for all our hookah needs. Richard - do your work.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:31 (twenty-two years ago)

haha I was in tchai ovna tonight and, for the first time in my life, tried a hookah. synchronicity innit.

cozen (Cozen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:40 (twenty-two years ago)

How was the hookah for you?

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:43 (twenty-two years ago)

it was... okay actually. a bit cherry.

cozen (Cozen), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I find them ultimately unsatisfying.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Like hookers, I imagine.

I don't imagine very often.

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 20 April 2004 23:48 (twenty-two years ago)
