Yes, I was wondering what those were called outside the UK, if they have specific names at all.

I mean, sky blue is pretty obvious ... and universal.

Wrt to 1776 I think that in the American imagination the British will always be associated with the color red, because of the coats they wore at that time. It’s also why the New England Patriots changed their dominant uniform color from red to blue back in the 1990s. People thought it was incongruous that they would wear red jerseys given the historical connotations.

Navy blue is darker than royal blue. I associate that color with pea coats.

Which one was married to Shelley Winters? Less sure of that.

By the second one I meant James Franciscus. Who did indeed play Longstreet and the other one was married to Shelley Winters, as I suspected but couldn’t be sure of.

There is no doubt a different amount of bounce in a UK/Imperial ounce than a US ounce.

I'm another who mixes up Carey Mulligan with Michelle Williams. However, I also get those two confused with Emily Watson, even though she's considerably older.
