laughed at this yesterday but now I'm curious because of course "spag bol" is not an Italian dish at all, so either someone is winding him up here or he has just made it up entirely, or maybe this is just about a recipe which says not to use it?

big Antonio Carluccio had some quite strong opinions on UK spag bol and his recipe didn't include garlic, basil, oregano nor any herbs and definitely not Worcester sauce.
