The sign on the right is impossible to fully decipher but it looks like a muster or meeting point with a three word phrase with 'di' or 'de' in the middle, google translate gives punto de reunión in spanish which looks like a good fit but could be italian or portuguese or similar.

think you might be right, but once again, as to finding this particular version of the sign...

Trying to decipher the street name that has been obscured in the first pic. The last two letters of the first word look like "da" and the first letter of the second word is "A", if that's any help. Don't think it's "Avenue", though, but I could be wrong.

Feeling irrationally angry towards Pasco and their unsearchable logo.

once it became clear it could have been a spanish speaking country, i figured that pasco logo might actually be paseo. started searching for paseo centro comercial, ended up on paseo libertad's website and saw the same logo as that pic and then i looked on gmaps for paseo supermarkets in argentina

The two mountains in the back window of the bus suggested it was somewhere high altitude but i was was miles away. I've never been to that part of Argentina.

It's just there when I drop down into streetview, shows where coverage is available. I assume it's there for everybody. Maybe others have a different method for finding pics?

actually it's prob not india as the cars are on the right side of the road... i've started looking at accra as ghana seems to be a right hand side driving, english speaking country... and there's a pullmann hotel soon to be built with the tagline "a timeless experience" (tho tbf i'm pretty sure one in two luxury building in construction has that tagline).

Saying its probably south-east Asia isn't much of a revelation, beyond that my radar is pretty weak on this one. The city I'm thinking of first doesn't seem to be covered much by streetview so I'll wander around it some before putting it in as a guess

I mocked up the logo (screen cap was too blurry) and after getting nowhere with google found some other engines, yandex got the gold star.

So that Argentina one screwed with my head because I read the "P" in Paseo as the Cyrillic letter "che" but I should have realized that the letter in the picture was reversed.

I didn't realise when i put the picture up but if you just google "Pullman" "a timeless experience" you get some guy's 2015 review of the Yangon hotel as the first result.

I thought Mandalay but not with any real reason, then I noticed not much streetview coverage but didn't find it (because it wasn't Mandalay)

fuuuuuck i searched a bit after you saying pullman was interesting but didn't look for myanmar cause the pullmann hotel site i ended up on did not mention any hotels in that country.

I missed the pullman hint! After getting the lotteria logo I worked out the no motorbikes sign was definitely Myanmar, searching "'a timeless experience' Myanmar" on Yandex my new favourite search engine got a page for a Yangon luxury condo with that tagline. No way I can find that specific streetview location though!

man that is tough, not much to go on. the car at the far end of the road seems to be driving on the left. i don't know why but it makes me think of new zealand, even though i've never set foot anywhere near there

Looks sooooo much like a place I know, in Chico, CA, but since it seems that place isn't on streetview, my theory collapses.
