i also gotta say Tina kinda grew on me as we got to know her. Not so much her drag but her talent & personality. and it makes me wonder what she could have done if she had not been so in her head. Good candidate for an All Stars in future imo.

also I liked how Rose tried to talk to Tina about her critiques, not coming for her but trying to get her to see the bigger picture in a kind yet direct way.

I was irrationally annoyed by the way the queens all leaned forward instead of back when they were pretending to climb up the side of the table.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised. (I half remember some rumor that the show was trying to stretch out not merely to fill the episode order but in the hopes that by the time of the final they could actually film a final. I doubt it but even if so while the restrictions are about to be more loosened up they'll juuuuust miss it, unless there's some further delaying tactic we haven't seen yet.)

i hated Kandy’s runway but I hated Olivia’s more for being basic & NOT the challenge! so annoyed when she just put her hands in the hip-ruching as if they were pockets

i did get very teared up in the untucked reveal about her grandmother though, that was so moving. the shit some of these queens go through w their families just to get on stage & do what they love. i mean.

lol yes, i think i had gradually softened to it through familiarity, but hearing it for the first time in forever i was struck anew by how extremely cursed it is.

olivia seemed to lean more and more into her tropes as the season went on, strange to think how much of a frontrunner she felt at the beginning.

Yeah, I think it's that she has a smaller bag of tricks to pull from than the other contestants.

I just cannot warm to Gottmik. I know it's mean of me, but I just can't. I thought Kandy's interview with Ru was one of the least sycophantic and most natural chats they've ever had in that section, and I really think Kandy has pulled herself together massively since the early days of the competition (which feel like years ago now).

I mean this season started before both the Georgia Senate elections and the Capitol riot.

i guess i am not feeling Kandy in the top 4 compared to the other 3. she has truckloads of personality & she’s great but i thought her runway outfit looked like a pool toy & i dont think her song portion or dance were that good? idk. i suppose i get why they are keeping her but she def feels a step down from the other 3

kandy did improve a lot but yeah, she’s not on the same level as the other 3, which makes non elimination feel even more forced at this point (and just plain lazy).
