Besides the skiing bird (or two?) there's another figure over on the right with a red and white mushroom hat and pants that may have a story to tell

The two pictures seem like different places, which keeps throwing me off

Yeah I see skiing is involved, though I'm not 100 its a penguin!

Penguins, skis, red and white all suggest Chile and I think some places in Santiago have similar street lights. The green building is throwing me though.

at least I managed to guess the country correctly last night.

I know Macau is supposed to be part of China, but considering the two hours it can take to get across the border, it certainly feels like you're going to a different country.

Got lucky, just googled "yellow church" and it was in the first page of image results.

This is the first one of these I've ever got so I'm feeling very pleased with myself. Not so much into setting them myself though so please go ahead.

I was a long way out on this, I'd got it into my head the second photo was Monterrey Argentina but that the first photo wasn't. Saw the third photo and abandoned any notions of south americ

The incongruous penguin and friends should have been more of a giveaway it wasn't South America

when I google "yellow church" there is one in Macau but it's another one alltogether :-)

looks a bit like Manchester at first glance

Lol I was thinking the estuary and skyline looked like Liverpool, the Mersey and the Wirral from Everton valley if you squint hard enough

I was looking at the river (bay?) and what appears to be a big inlet or tributary - maybe even a massive canal going through the middle of town and I started thinking about one of the ports along the Rhine but I think the Rhine is probably too narrow. Hamburg?

As usual I feel I'd have a better chance if I could see some church towers.

it looks Nordic and/or Baltic to me, but I don't think the layout is that of Hamburg. Helsinki perhaps?
