They're from google streetview, which autoblurs number plates (at least most of the time). Images are as is!

Pompano Beach, never heard of it. Thanks to the clues above I dropped at several crossroads in florida with a highway running parallel to the tracks before stumbling across it

Awesome! I spent a lot of time in Pompano back in the day. It's two towns south of Boca Raton, so I was close. That was tricky because along those railroad tracks, even within the same city, there are some very skanky stretches as well as some nicely landscaped ones as in the photo.
