jess (dubplatestyle), Thursday, 20 February 2003 06:36 (twenty-three years ago)

Best person ever to run into at 3am on the subway on a Saturday night? Why yes, it would be TRACER HAND! Thank you for playing!

M Matos (M Matos), Thursday, 20 February 2003 06:38 (twenty-three years ago)

"he's always bustin heads/and jumpin in and out of beds"

jess (dubplatestyle), Thursday, 20 February 2003 06:39 (twenty-three years ago)

A quick Bombay update. I was not very successful. It is much harder to find women as I thought. No ads in papers, many taxi drivers don't speak english and so on. However, I found the Falkland street district and paid 200 rupees for 30 minutes. $4. Gotta run, more next time.

From Popbitch:

>> Spacey's hand tracer <<
Kevin has the weirdest stalker

Kevin Spacey has a very creepy stalker in London.

The fan is obsessed with his Spacey's hands.
Every time she manages to get into an event he's
at, she brings paper and marker pens so she
can trace them.

Spacey usually complies, and once even offered
to take his shoes off and let her draw round
his feet.

Strangely, the nutjob turned this down.

(Do you SEE?!)

somehow as you peel the layers off the enigma just gets more wrapped:

Where the Shadows Are Deepest: In Search of James Hand

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 24 February 2003 15:25 (twenty-three years ago)

there's a local "urban" tv channel (think south africa's answer to BET) called "channel o" and whenever they advertise their website, they show a user logging in with the handle "tracer". maybe that's weird or something. tracer hand is neat.

mitch lastnamewithheld (mitchlnw), Monday, 24 February 2003 17:36 (twenty-three years ago)

every time that ad airs i have to run over to my computer and log onto their fugging website, sometimes at 7am in the morning!

you're neat, too, mitch..... HAND!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 24 February 2003 21:41 (twenty-three years ago)

I think that TRACER HAND should write an article for Freaky Trigger.

An article that is not about hip-hop.

the pinefox, Tuesday, 25 February 2003 12:22 (twenty-three years ago)

Cos you have dibs on that Pinefox?

Graham (graham), Tuesday, 25 February 2003 12:23 (twenty-three years ago)

Piefops represent

the pinefox, Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, yes it is.

Nicolars (Nicole), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:18 (twenty-two years ago)

he has been felled by plucky british germs.

Ed (dali), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:22 (twenty-two years ago)

You mean TRACER HAND.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Or Traitor Hand.

Nicolars (Nicole), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Or Jerkface.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Who?

adaml (adaml), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Kahuka Hand.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Who?

adaml (adaml), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:37 (twenty-two years ago)

What?

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:41 (twenty-two years ago)

From what I can tell, he's kind of like a happy-Lou-Reed-type figure with a lot of funny stories. He lives in London now.

adaml (adaml), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:43 (twenty-two years ago)

He has no funny stories. He's totally boring and uninteresting. His hands bleed a lot.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:46 (twenty-two years ago)

My mistake.

adaml (adaml), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, don't make it again. He's a mean, mean man and he left me to rot in a godforsaken hellhole and we cry every night in NYC now.

Ally (mlescaut), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:50 (twenty-two years ago)

He's just a wizened biker dude.

Nicolars (Nicole), Thursday, 9 October 2003 13:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, but he was our wizened biker dude.

Tracer Hand thinks Vice magazine is funny and well-written, and says so in 8 words, whereas I need 80,000 and still fail to convince anyone.

Momus (Momus), Thursday, 9 October 2003 18:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Tracer needs to get better, so he can continue to show Brits how true madness is done.

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Thursday, 9 October 2003 18:59 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm pretty sure he's not that good at "true madness"

Tracer Hand is missed not only in New York, but on the west coast, where he doesn't even live, as well. TRACER HAND.

M Matos (M Matos), Thursday, 9 October 2003 20:38 (twenty-two years ago)

ed@ns, Thursday, 9 October 2003 20:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Does anyone know where I can find the thread where Tracer talks about dancing to imaginary house music because of drugs? That is still my favourite thing ever written on ILX.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Saturday, 27 March 2004 20:18 (twenty-two years ago)

once I was so high at a show...

The whole thread is just killer.

Prude (Prude), Saturday, 27 March 2004 21:23 (twenty-two years ago)

it looks liek you confused tracer head with mr diamond nordics!

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Saturday, 27 March 2004 21:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Nope:

that afterwards, back at home, head bobbing, etc. I yell out to roomie "why'd you turn the music off?" and he's like "what music?" He comes back in. He's looking at me like a lab specimen. "The stereo's been off the whole time." I look down at my hands. They look huge. "What did you think you were listening to?" Sheepishly: "really good house music!!"
