There's this whole subset of images which are unquestionably cursed but which just feature uncanny + unpeopled spaces (I've taken to thinking of them as 'dispatches from nopespace'). I hadn't really thought of them as fitting the purview of this thread so I've never posted any of them here but reading through mark's criteria in the first post maybe they do. I have my own subset of rules (no moldering + abandoned ruins, nothing overtly staged + creepy, absolutely positively no creatures alive or dead allowed, etc.)

i know we all really care about the boundaries of the 'cursed' category and to be fair that's what this thread was about initially, but fwiw my vote is just to abandon all impulses to second-guess / start new threads and just use one convenient location for all things both cursed and tangential to cursed that might cross our paths because who has the time really?

well the idea of absolute privacy while you go through your bodily functions isn't exactly universal.
