duchovny reminds me of david spade - though i don't think you could really call him the "worst actor", he remained pretty niche.

Chris Pine has been excellent in a couple of movies, especially Hell or High Water. Chris Pratt has been fine and fun in Marvel, Parks and Rec ... Hemsworth is a good Thor, and was good in Cabin in the Woods. Chris Evans is a good Captain America, and was really funny in Scott Pilgrim.

evans was close to perfect in knives out, i think, which played off his captain america glory boy image very well

Duchovny is similar to Kevin Spacey for me -- overrated possibly, but appealing in many things -- calling either of them "worst" is challopian compared to so many others who are like human equivalents of the furniture in Titanic that got an excessive amount of screen time.

Chris Pine was one of the four, but I don't think he looks like the others that much. I always assumed the Four Chrises was a response to white people saying they couldn't tell non-white actors apart.

speaking of titanic, what about billy zane? he's pretty bad, though it might cross into memorably bad territory and not slip under the bloom bar

I think Duchovny knows he's second rate, and doesn't put on airs that he's anything but

Just about right. Evans and Hemsworth belie the generally correct 'good looking = bad actor' notion imo.

Tom Hanks was soooo good in that Black Jeopardy sketch ... does it make up for everything else? idk, but now that I am aware of Chris Pratt's existence and am reminded of those of John Krasinski, Keira Knightley, and several others ...
