Jim Watkins looks like he was created by John Kennedy Toole. Looks exactly like the one image I can remember seeing of the character though maybe a little slimmer.

Do Q fans recognise that the story has been outed as a fiction or see that as a troll. Or further revelation they need to interpret into their epistemology while waiting for further orders. Like the Doublethink of both believing and disbelieving t that was talked about heavily at the start of the incumbency.

The question I have is how did he learn all those secrets about the deep state and the satanic pedophile cabals? This story isn't over!

No, I'm exactly the same and I've probably missed out on some quality audio/video material as a result.

it would be good if the q identity could be authoritatively established and put to rest so i look forward to some kind of big expose. (written, of course, i'm not about to start listening to podcasts). i know that it won't change the mind of every supporter, but still.

seems very likely that this jim watkins was a big part of it, maybe the main guy.

the one thing about this i just can't get over is how dumb the people are who believed in this. like, it's one thing to think that the state protects sex offenders. (they do!) but to think that TRUMP is the one who will blow the lid off it... and that the way it will happen is this dramatic, eschatological unveiling.... and that YOU, reader, have an important role to play, searching for patterns on google image search or whatever... it's just bizarre.

As to Waktins/8kin being Q, I thought that was basically common knowledge all along? I'd always assumed most sensible ppl knew 8chan made Q up as a joke. I neverunderstood why it got taken seriously when this had such clearly finable back-roots.

Read the whole transcript and its even more batshit than I'd surmised. But yeah its pretty clear it started as a joke - they didnt even know who was posting as Q half the time FFS - and then snowballed with a lot of ego in the mix.

yes, I know I'm derailing again, but this colloquial blurring is precisely the reason why conservatives love to cite average USA household income rather than median USA household income; the enormous income gains of the 1% pull the average up considerably even though income from wages has remained stagnant.

I haven't listened to a podcast since 2017, and I've hosted several of them lol. I was subjected to so much NPR as a kid that if I'm listening to anything, it isn't a bunch of people talking, it's music!

I find it easier to focus on a written piece, and to organise my compulsion to zip off and further research little details. But I really enjoyed listening to the podcast of this story, and am fine with podcasts if I'm not actively researching something for work.

I'm too impatient for podcasts, I think. Reading something is many times quicker than listening to it being spoken; I soon feel like I'm wasting time. (I'm also very bad at sitting down to watch a film.)
