Pittsburgh is okay, it is INCREDIBLY dreary, though. After Portland, it has the most days with cloud cover of any major US city. Of course, some might find that appealing.
I will note that I have driven through Pgh and spent a number of days in Pittsburgh, and I never, ever saw the sun. Anecdotal, sure, but still.
I'm also from Philadelphia, tho, so talking shit on Pittsburgh is like second nature.

well Fen Road is not at all "the road out of Cambridge" - it's a mile-long cul-de-sac behind Cambridge North Station, ending in a steep bank at the side of the A14.
