i think that the ones who get embarrassed about it are the lucky ones. i think the more common outcome, the default one, isn't shame or embarrassment or self-reflection but instead falling for another conspiracy or getting dragged in deeper (oh, q was part of this OTHER thing the entire time, the more important thing). doubling down on an even more high level conspiracy can seem easier than having to face the reality of having embarrassed oneself in front of many dozens of people with weird q shit in recent years

So I guess a few years back Q predicted that 3/1-3/2/2025 will be "Suicide Weekend" where all the people on Epstein's list kill themselves before being exposed. I wonder if Bondi's release of Epstein documents is playing into this theory.

A friend of mine has a family member (in-law, iirc) that is evangelical and conservative. He gets along with her and her husband in person but generally avoids engaging with her on social media. Lately, however, the bullshit levels have been so high he's had to chime in with stuff on Facebook, and she replied with some pro Trump shit followed by some acronym (not the best known one). And he writes back, uh, is that QAnon? And she's all, yep, that's Q! Man, if I had a family member into QAnon I'm not sure I would feel safe around them, but I suppose that's part and parcel with this whole mess. If a friend or family member is nice and hospitable and you enjoy their company and generally don't talk politics, but you know they are also QAnon-believing evangelical Trump supporters, do you just cut them off?

Unfortunately Q people don't seem able to have a normal conversation about anything.

My oldest cousin is very into Illuminati theories and I just delete the emails he sends on that topic and stonewall him whenever he tries to bring it up in person or in messages. He’s had all sorts of mental health issues and indulgent/wrongheaded parenting that’s basically set him up to be a failson, so this doesn’t help.

The thing I don’t get about “Q” is why “Q” needs to exist at all. Wouldn’t the obvious conclusion be that trump himself is Q? It’s so fucking stupid. Did Trump ever like, complain about Q leaking his secret plans?
