xpost - I mean, fair, but, unfortunately, as recently as two weeks ago, the "Q stuff" was inextricably and dangerously tied to politics, so it's kinda hard to avoid. I think right now there's just a joy in watching some absolutely terrifying and dangerous people lose their shit and identity.

Considering that people are pissed in the Biden thread about yet another US politics thread, I'm pretty hesitant to start yet another one.

Would love to see the xls of what are acceptable topics for a politics thread or not, this thread content policing is pretty fucking inconsistent.

So if I'm understanding this right, it is now time to pivot the politics thread away from the relentless horrors of the past 4 years and back to its normally programmed attacks on Democrats on liberals with only a bare acknowledgement of the half of the country that wants to throw us all in prison camps. After 4 years of daily torture by tweet the outrush of relief at just having to cope with the Empire we all know and love to hate is both sincere and pardonable. COVID was obviously the worst possible issue for Trump, it's resistant to bullshit, impossible to spin, requires coordination, consistency and competence. pretty much the exact opposite of what Trump is about.

but I feel like one of his biggest mistakes in all this was the Post Office stuff, I think that really got to people and got the election down to a wish for just some sort of base level functioning government. Plus it delayed packages during a big shopping time, it alienated older people who rely on the Post Office more. All that made Biden's return to normalcy pitch more appealing.

I think joe biden is malleable honestly. My big things are wealth redistribution and the environment and I think Joe can be moved to do things on both fronts. He was a right wing democrat in the 80s and 90s but that is no longer where the country is and he knows it.
