This is incredibly sad- this guy and his wife Heather found themselves become "variety streamers" on Twitch after branching out into other games beyond Tetris and their hundred-something viewer streams were very cozy little hang outs full of positivity. The two of them were clearly very much best friends beyond being husband and wife so I feel so devastated for her. They were on day 2 of a big move to Hawaii and were simply reading on the couch, then he got up to get something and collapsed and never regained consciousness. Heartbreaking.

I have a ton of records Howard Johnson plays on (Mingus, Dixon, Hill, Rivers etc.) but honestly when I heard the news I immediately jumped to see if he was the tuba player who'd worked with Arthur Blythe on so many records. He was not; that was Bob Stewart, who's still alive.
