I’m a year shy of 60--I don’t “concern-troll.” (Like all internet jargon, a truly idiotic phrase.) You long outgrow stuff like that. I come on, say what I think about something, and try to do so in a way not meant to antagonize anyone. I tried to carefully word my post last night in just such a way--even pre-emptively conceding that I was coming from somewhere that made my point of view easier--and I thought I did. I wouldn’t change anything in that post. It’s a subject where I’m somewhere in the middle, not sure what the right answer is.

You say it doesn’t matter that I’m Canadian. Yet you’ve made an issue out of that two or three times now--like I shouldn’t be interested in these matters, or shouldn’t be on the American politics thread posting about them.

A few others disagreed with me too. Which is fine. But they didn’t tell me to go fuck myself--something else you tend to do with me, and with others. Honestly, you come off exactly like Trump when you do this.

I know this is not the thread for this, but I didn’t know where else to put it. And I’m not asking that you carry on and debate it here--if you want to respond, and can think of a better thread, direct me there.
