Sure, a chunk of the GOP clearly approved of and wanted the worst from Trump, but a bigger chunk would presumably have been fine with Pence for a couple of years. Profiles in lack of courage, yes, but the lunatic constituents that were all in for Trump are not going anywhere, so it's hard to believe they won't be even bigger pussies as the literal opposition party.
