I knew there must be two people when I saw the news about the MSNBC appointment but I thought I must have got the actor’s name wrong. Mixing up two names. But I hadn’t mixed up two names as there was only one name.

It strikes me that this thread is half for cases of people mixing up similar names and half for mixing up similar people.
