a couple of other times ive gotten a notification that some account features were disabled but i couldnt figure out what they were

there should be some sort of forgiveness plan for when the person really does deserve it

I don't have a Twitter account and only read the tweets that get posted to this here borad, but I've been wondering about their moderation policy lately and I'm not sure I get why, say, Varg Vikernes can get away with saying, well, exactly what you'd expect (we talked about this a bit in the apposite ILM thread).

Similarly, why are this tweet and the ensuing replies deemed acceptable? Would I get banned if I retorted 'fuck you and your little racist isle?'

Twitter would be dead if they actually enforced their own guidelines. I reported an account with a handle that outright denied the Holocaust (and was full of imagery you’d expect) several times, it took more than a year before I finally got a report saying that it had been actioned. It’s a fucking cesspool, reported the cunt too fwiw

they seem to be quite fast at cracking down on harmless lefty shitposter parody accounts and such like going by the number of them that get banned or their use restricted on a weekly basis, but neo-fascists can often let hundreds of flowers bloom before any action is taken against them. I sometimes wonder if some of these accounts are GCHQ bots tbh.
