it's also reminiscent of how he claimed there should be a new election in Arizona in 2018 because "the signatures don't match", and how he demanded the vote count on Election Day be the one used in the Gillum/Desantis gubernatorial race.

given the fact that the group that got arrested for the plot against Governor Whitmer also included plans to execute politicians live on TV and leaving nobody alive inside, and also to lock people inside a building and set it on fire, I don't want anything that gives these assholes ideas.

that said, I'm more annoyed than 'scared' at this point, it's just...can we just move on and enjoy the fact that we're free of you (kind of but not really) at the moment?

He looked/sounded pretty depressed/defeated in the presser today if that's any indication of his current state of mind. I'm not sure who creates the uh... content on his twitter account but after today, I think the disinformation machine may not be him, at least not wholly.

God, if you're out there, please give the Trumps the Godfather 3 ending, and I will go to church again.

for a week or two, I mean, let's not get ridiculous here.

Saw someone observe that President Asshole has been backed into a corner by Biden. He can't complain about Biden's agenda or anything Biden says because to do so would be to acknowledge Biden as the next president. So instead all he can do is grouch and pout and pretend anyone gives a shit about him.

even in the petulant idiot alt galaxy he’s concocted, I’m honestly surprised he’s able to game that out and adhere to it.

I mean I’m sure it’s Stephen Miller and/or whatever goons of strategery are still haunting the west wing feeding him drawing the pictures for him but hey good for soupy brains for sticking to the plan

"President-el....I mean FAKE President Biden is going to prevent you all from getting vaccines. Uh, uhm, I mean if he were President, which he is not. Going to be. So you better be happy I won again because when he takes office...uhm, I mean if he were to have taken office, you all will be in a world of...would have been in a world of trouble. Make sure to take to the streets in January to protest...uhh....how upset you would have been with Biden as ...President....won....fraud......700,000.....the ballots....the fake....ballots"

polls show that there's no way he'll win

@oneposter(✔️) (Karl Malone), Saturday, 14 November 2020 01:51 (five years ago)

at least if he'd filed a million lawsuits in 2016, Obama's GSA would have aided Hillary's transition, and his sideshow would have been much more muted.

there were a ridiculous amount of faithless electors in 2016 though!

https://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/11/13/us/joe-biden-trump/trump-puts-giuliani-in-charge-of-his-lawsuits-challenging-the-election-results

In an Oval Office meeting with aides on Thursday, Mr. Trump put Mr. Giuliani on speakerphone so the others could hear him. He angrily accused the aides of not telling the president the truth, according to people briefed on the meeting. Justin Clark, the deputy campaign manager, pushed back aggressively on Mr. Giuliani, said the people briefed on what took place.

Democratic groups are having to take out attack ads on Emily Murphy, who heads the GSA, for not making an ascertainment. that's where we're at. possibly bringing her onto the damn Hill.

this is ridiculous.

For every three or four hours of threats and pranking endured, staff estimated that they’d get roughly one caller with an earnest, maybe-promising tip. Staff would often leave looking visibly upset, worn out, and feeling undervalued. https://t.co/4eme8YplW0

Scavino has had full access for the entire administration, and probably has an underling or two tweeting also. In the first year or so you could always tell which were Trump and which were Scavino based not only on tone and comprehensibility, but because Trump's said "sent from Android" and Scavino's were "sent from twitter for iphone"

A podcast I was listening to pointed out that Hillary gave up the race at 3 am on election night. Would it have changed anything if she hadn't or was she just a lot more realistic than t.

Stevolende, Saturday, 14 November 2020 07:44 (five years ago)

Right, just going blank on the word conceded.

Also, listening to a podcast yesterday talking about this week's ACA SCOTUS act having caused more harm than initially visible.

wouldn't the ballots like fall apart after a certain time though.

https://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2020-54849605

The 43-year-old rapper has conceded after his self-styled "Birthday Party" collected just 60,000 votes out of an estimated total of 160 million.

A friend of mine was concerned about West's presence being enough to tip close states. Told him, at the time, that was preposterous.

I mean, I guess if the 60,000 votes had been limited to three or four key states--not sure where he managed to get on the ballot--he could have made a difference.
