Does that Georgia certification date include the inevitable recount?

The certification date would be set by state law, so I'd say 'yes, unless the law is changed prior to Nov.20.'

In PA

New: latest Philadelphia count adds over 2k votes and Biden wins them 92%-7%, pushing his statewide PA lead past 47k.

— Dave Wasserman (@Redistrict) November 10, 2020

We're well out of automatic recount territory now (0.7 > 0.5), and Biden is still on track to win PA by more than double Trump's 2016 PA margin (44,292 votes).

It doesn't matter that Trump doesn't have a leg to stand on, this is still a coup attempt.

Trump has never had a leg to stand on in any of his own enterprises, since he stopped slumlording for his daddy's apartment buildings. His grand, classy real estate? Tacky bullshit. His vaunted dealmaking? Fictional. His university? Fraudulent. His mail-order steaks? Blister-packed crap. His entire football league? An incompetent shambles. His airline? Overleveraged from the start and never profitable. His film acting? Incompetent. His TV stardom? Pieced together with endless editing. He went bankrupt running casinos in Atlantic City, after being refused a casino in Sydney due to his fraudulence and organised crime connections.

All he has ever had is bluster, and the stamina to keep blustering until he reached enough marks to go along with his idiocy. He's blustering now, and as usual he's finding some people to go along with it conceptually. But for the last four years he's had a lot of people willing to actually carry out his dumbest ideas for the chance to ride alongside power for a little while; almost nobody who has the ability to leverage power is pretending to buy his shit anymore. (And those that do, like Meadows and Bossie, are dropping to the 'vid.)

Hell, even NPR referred to it as the "still disputed election" just this morning, which is irresponsible at best

NPR radio news has been carrying water for him via both-sides-ism during the entire admin. It's worse than useless as an information source.

Feels like NYT is missing a big opportunity here to package this existential dread about Trump staying on in the form of, I dunno, maybe a needle of some type?

Ah, clarity.

Regarding the tweet that is going viral from my account — I was quoting a message that I received earlier this week from a follower.

Sorry if context was not clear.

Trump received record minority votes & record LGBTQ votes.

Many people won’t say it vocally, but do in private.

The weird thing for me is, almost every time I see a Republican on TV talking sense--most recent example, Susan Molinari on CNN 30 minutes ago--it's almost always a former office-holder who used to drive me up the wall during the Clinton presidency. It's disorienting.

I"m kinda glad I got banned from FB for a week for calling another male fan of the same soccer team a "stupid bitch". don't have to worry about helping with other people's sanity.

(Note that post got me banned, but someone who actually threatened me with bodily harm on FB and called me a "fucktard" 'didn't violate community standards')

xpost - I can only assume at this point that the moderators in charge of FB are purposefully trying to do as much evil as possible. My wife's friend was getting harassed by a Trump supporter after a heated political argument in a mutual's comments and the guy threatened to doxx her, implied he knew where she worked and posted not so veiled threats about what harm "antifa members like her" deserved. Every single complaint she passed along to FB came as "didn't violate community standards". She finally flipped and called him a "stupid fucking asshole" and nearly instantly got a week ban.
