it's a testament to how loathesome the Trump clan is that I'm so moved by seeing families that don't hate each other's guts onstage

I was as 'awww...really?!?' about Biden's nomination as anyone, and his presidency may be completely disappointing and lackluster, but hearing these victory speeches straight fucked me up. Such a relief to have the past four years behind us. As anyone with a brain knows, there's a ton of work ahead of the country, but it'll be a helluva lot easier to do that work without a demonic toddler mashing his used diaper in our faces every five minutes.
