the entire Republican party is about one thing and one thing only and that's fealty to Trump they do not care that he's a pedophile or a Nazi and whatever he wants to do to the White House is his God-given right

although who knows, the photos of the White House being demolished while Trump demands the taxpayers give him $230,000,000 all during a government shutdown may be too much for some people, plus his approval rating is worse than ever now, maybe this is having some effect

Approval ratings are more a measure of performance evaluation than vote intention. I know there's overlap but I think there's a fundamental difference, and they get conflated

I think it's similar to how "policy x" polls well
