yeah that's been a thing. at the risk of being less of a downer than i want to, it seems like a lot of people really enjoyed being able to not vote in person and this may make those restrictions more difficult to pass.

Extend early voting to be 30 days everywhere, require employers to give work time, sure, that might be a workable compromise. But that won't happen...
