The margins are pretty thin relative to the outstanding uncounted votes in all four contested states that are leaning Biden right now, I guess it makes some sense that the networks are reluctant to call it just yet, but I don’t remember such an excruciatingly slow vote count like this in 2016.

My memory is that Sinema/McSally took longer than this, right?

TBH -- especially now that everything is clearly trending Biden's way in the remaining big four (NC I won't care about unless something gets much closer) -- I'm fine with the slow time. The end result is clear and by just racking up the numbers and putting them out there it just makes the obvious frustrations clearer among the loons.

And to give you an idea about how weird things are getting, I was literally amazed to read this. As a separate tweet about it said, "This is the Republican voter fraud zealot equivalent of Cookie Monster saying, “No thanks, me have enough cookies to eat”"

I think the reverse is true, the delay gives them time to get used to the idea, and by the time it's officially declared, they'll have come to terms with it.

i am always wondering how trump gets any lawyer to represent him, he always gets ones that don't know this one weird rule (a) Except as stated in paragraph (c), a lawyer shall not represent a client or, where representation has commenced, shall withdraw from the representation of a client if:

I dunno, I thought I saw something about the FBI intervening today or yesterday when some crank threatened a mass shooting if Biden is elected, or a news crews being evacuated due to a bomb threat, and one reporter in Arizona in hiding because the crazies thought he was stealing ballots and got his license plate. Maybe this stuff is always happening, if you look for it.

Biden can do quite a bit of preparation without having networks call it for him. It's not like the Trump administration would suddenly start extending full cooperation if CNN, MSNBC and FOX declared Biden won. You know Trump isn't built like that and he will reject any request for cooperation for as long as possible.
