@Moodles: AP also called Arizona. As Ned posted way upthread, AP and Fox use different data than the other organizations, which explains the discrepancy. I believe the incorrect report about the percentage of ballots counted came after the AP/Fox calls and did not affect them.

Agree with you that I'd feel a lot more comfortable if the other decision desks also made that call. Seems like we'll have a better idea tonight.

So I just want to say, and I know we’re not quite through this yet, but this thread and everyone in it has been a huge comfort to me, both yesterday and today. yeah. i mean the democrats need to do way better, find something to campaign on for starters, but i'm cautiously impressed with how things are shaking down.

I know it's "off brand" for me. But, like, I really don't think Dems "screwed up" the election. Biden ran a campaign specifically targeted a flipping a few white college educate Republicans and some rural voters, while hope Black people and Latinos did all the other things.

I think it may end up having been the right play for this election. But it doesn't give one hope for the strength of the coalition.

Did the Trump campaign pull back on their spending toward the end of the campaign specifically so they could have enough money left over to be able to litigate results and pay for recounts? Or did he beg one last loan from Deutsche Bank?

I think Nevada said they were going to give some more results tonight, to sate curiosity.

NYT has michigan for biden and they have been slower than AP to turn states red or blue

The Biden campaign has exorcised a demon from 2016 by taking the Upper Midwest / rust belt seriously, to good effect. All his folksy Scrantonite stuff worked (combined with Trump fatigue).

The strong showing in the southwest (NV, AZ, NM) is heartening as well.

I harbored some hope for cracking the south a bit (NC, GA, TX would have been lovely) but that was always - to my mind - gravy.

Reuters and NYT have called Michigan. That’s good enough for me.
