the omaha paper is ... kind of calling? NE-2 for biden, which is good news and rules out a mathematical tie assuming the arizona call is correct.

Ladies, the important thing was to get some sleep because every time I pull an all-nighter for elections the following few days are like DO NOT OPERATE HEAVY MACHINERY. Only had one shite meme from my mom, have a well-made cup of tea warming up my angry knee and woke up to my home state declaring for Biden.

Yes! I was adamant with anyone I saw voting D to vote on those lines so that’s good to hear.

Fox calling Nebraska 2nd for Biden

keen reverberations of twee (collardio gelatinous), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:21 (five years ago)

The fact that MN has two separate "major" parties devoted to pot legalization has probably cost the DFL two house seats (districts 1 and 2)

xpost to trump winning

FRAUDULENT STEAKS (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:21 (five years ago)

Based on a drop of 13,121 mail ballots in Erie County, PA showing Biden winning them 5:1, it looks like he will win back this swing county that Trump carried. There are abut 37k mail ballots still to be counted in coming days. Dems believe Biden wins them 3 or 4 to 1.

(•̪●) (carne asada), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:22 (five years ago)

this doesn't look very good to me

(French here, just woke up and looking at decisiondesk's map)

Dinsdale, Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:23 (five years ago)

Cool that the major swing states appear nowhere close to being called yet

Mr. Cacciatore (Moodles), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:24 (five years ago)

I know it's just a modeler, but if you got to that 538 thing where you plug in key states and see how percentages change then Biden's gone from 90% this morning to 95% now.

Fetchboy, Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:24 (five years ago)

sry to be a naysayer, I was hoping this would look more decisive at this point.

grid yr lions (Pillbox), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:24 (five years ago)

AP called Texas for Trump (again, not surprising, but in case anyone held out hope anyway)

Fox saying either 99% of the Milwaukee vote is in or 39%... they're not sure

keen reverberations of twee (collardio gelatinous), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:26 (five years ago)

I just hope that the big turnout in TX this year helps them out locally as much as it did in 2018

Fetchboy, Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:26 (five years ago)

Biden’s got this in the bag. I’m pissed about the Senate results so far though

sound of scampo talk to me (El Tomboto), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:26 (five years ago)

The decision desk has been charged with figuring out whether "99" was a typo

keen reverberations of twee (collardio gelatinous), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:27 (five years ago)

xp -- gee, maybe if beto didn't take a huge fucking toke of his own supply

like, I’m eating an elephant head (katherine), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:27 (five years ago)

It's so frustrating to be looking at these maps and everything and just not having any way of knowing. I know everyone spent weeks warning about this with mail-in ballots, but I ... basically didn't want to believe that it was going to be close enough that that would matter. (So yeah, I was in denial, I know.)

a man often referred to in the news media as the Duke of Saxony (tipsy mothra), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:27 (five years ago)

Yea the Senate now rests on a few races. It's a big blow if we can't get it back.

I'll take it over a Trump Presidency but if we can't get the Senate back now, when tf can we get it back

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:28 (five years ago)

John King just rambled around for 15 minutes and arrived at this: Biden can lose Pennsylvania if he wins Wisconsin and Michigan; he'd take it 270-268 (if Arizona and that congressional district in Nebraska holds).

clemenza, Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:29 (five years ago)

Milwaukee wont report for a few more hours

At this point it seems Biden’s gonna eat into Trumps lead in MI, WI, and PA over the next few days. I am fairly optimistic. Georgia turning into a weird wild card too.

frogbs, Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:29 (five years ago)

Living in Minnesota, I can't say I trust Wisconsin as much as some of y'all seem to.

On average, this critic grades 8.3 points lower than other critics (Eric H.), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:31 (five years ago)

With so damn many mail-in ballots to count, decisive results by now were only in the cards with a landslide election, one where FL and NC fell early to Biden. This will be no landslide. It will be an EC squeaker again.

MI, WI, MN all need to hold the line. Even if GA goes Biden, it will be by a tiny margin and there will be a big recount fight there. Nice to see AZ ready to deliver for Biden, though. Makes life a bit simpler.

the unappreciated charisma of cows (Aimless), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:31 (five years ago)

Win GA so i can get off the toilet

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:31 (five years ago)

Wisconsin has polled extremely well for Biden, recently elected a Dem governor and flopped a state SC seat that nobody gave them a chance at. We are also getting fucking slammed with Covid right now. He might not win by a ton but I’d be really stunned if he lost here, would very much be the story of this election (next to Miami obv)

frogbs, Wednesday, 4 November 2020 06:32 (five years ago)

If you just go by what ABC News has called (we're on the conservative side tonight)... Biden's win probability would go from 69% to 85% based on NE-2 being called! That one electoral vote makes a huge amount of difference.
