yeah

if i were one of these newly unemployed big name writers and i didnt want get big investment money and have a whole organization that needed to be managed produce big numbers and so forth i might try something substackish thats like half podcasts with a staff of less than 5 people, tho i would think hard about whether i wanted to use a 3rd party platform like substack thats ultimately concerned about whats good for them rather than you

but im sure substack is prob just a stopgap for these guys anyway, unless substack has a ton of money they feel like throwing around, but then even that wont last

the part of it i don't like is being shown people i've never hard of before and would never hear of if not for twitter being owned. i guess in some case they're quasi-reputable media figures, but also more often not? im pretty sure the girl who said AOC's boyfriend has raccoon dick energy or wtv is just some random with 5k followers

like this one was pretty funny to me bc it's glenn. fucking. greenwald. we all know him, oh isn't this so predictable of his late descent yet also so perfectly in-character, etc. thomas chatterthon williams i didn't even know who he was (name vaguely rings a bell but im certain it's just because he has been main character of twitter before). i guess it's kinda funny that he said emily ratajkowski's boobs are neat. but like, it's not as funny as the horny anthony lane review of incredibles 2
