Looking forward to this one, was just talking about Mothership with a friend, specifically the fact that I started receiving 50+ campaign emails a day, mostly for McGrath or Jaime Harrison, which featured horrible graphic design and had the tone of an unstable and abusive partner trying to convince you to stay. Sometimes I'd get an email shouting that McGrath was up in the polls and then half an hour later I'd hear that it was a disaster, McGrath was down in the polls and we were all failing her!

Clearly they work on some level -- Dems raised a shit-ton of money. But they failed in spite of raising all that money, and I can't help but think these emails don't endear voters to Democrats.
