I see Karlan Grant scored for the Baggies earlier (in the game everyone was talking about). I think he scored about 5 for us in the Prem in one of the worst teams ever, a goalscoring spree that yielded zero points for us.

Looks that way at the moment, haven't seen a lineup yet but I've come to the pub for this. Tbh I understand what he's trying to do with that front 3, Podence and Neto are both better technical players

In any case there's a lot to be said for bringing on an express train late on to run at tired fullbacks.

Yeah, my concern with that is how happy Traore is to play that role all season but he's still negotiating a new contract as far as I know so he can't be that arsey about it

I don't think interest in Adama is anything like high enough to meet the prices that were being bandied about last season tbh. Joyful to watch him in full effect but he'll always carry a bunch of question marks over him

We bossed Sheff U first game and have looked sub par since. I know what you mean about Nuno looking uncertain and I've been hoping that's because he's trying to change the tactics up a bit. Much better so far tonight but I hope we don't try and suck up pressure all 2nd half

Feels like a big season for Wolves and - I don't want to separate him from the club and the work he's doing there - Nuno in particular. So clearly a class act and it'd be great to see him build something. Kind of amazed his name doesn't come up more often though.

I think there's a suspicion that he's very one-note as a tactician, might end up to be true yet. Of course I love him, even putting the results aside he's v loveable
