Never mind the furthermore, the pee has drenched his pants.

OrificeMax (Old Lunch), Friday, 23 October 2020 04:26 (five years ago)

I think we all missed it during the debate, but I just remembered the moderator saying "You refuse to take responsibility for America's handling of the pandemic --" and Trump responding "No, I will take responsibility, and I do I take full responsibility, but it wasn't my fault, it was China's fault." Truly impressive how many times this week alone he's sunk to new depths of pissbabyness.

Completely mishearing or misconstruing what someone said and then running with it--"you catch that, he's glad kids are separated from their parents, spread the word!"--is bush league stuff that should be restricted to right wing idiots, really frustrates me when liberals do it

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 23 October 2020 04:43 (five years ago)

I think it was easily misheard. I heard "good" at the time. But people need to let it go.

Mr. Cacciatore (Moodles), Friday, 23 October 2020 04:44 (five years ago)

Nice "Don"/"Team Trump" jogger tho.

On average, this critic grades 8.3 points lower than other critics (Eric H.), Friday, 23 October 2020 04:44 (five years ago)

look, lots of people are saying he said it, i'm not ...i'm not , i can't say if he said it but people are saying, they're saying he said 'good'. listen to the crowd, lots of people talking about it.

Neanderthal, Friday, 23 October 2020 04:47 (five years ago)

Give Trump's Twitter team credit rn for finding the random 10,000-ish response Twitter polls that most certainly weren't targeted by Russian bots that show him winning the debate by a 9-1 margin to RT.

Biden’s stammer and his occasional word fumble don’t bother me at all now. They’re kind of an endearing character trait.

1) cats kill 2.4 billion birds a year? Can that be possible?

Even housecats allowed outdoors will rack up wildlife kills.

Donald Trump Also Sucks, Of Course (milo z), Friday, 23 October 2020 05:47 (five years ago)

holy shit that's a lot of dead birds

Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Friday, 23 October 2020 05:47 (five years ago)

https://abcbirds.org/article/kittycam-reveals-high-levels-of-wildlife-being-killed-by-outdoor-cats/

Your cuddly little boy that you spoil with treats will kill 2 birds a week for the hell of it (if allowed outdoors).

Donald Trump Also Sucks, Of Course (milo z), Friday, 23 October 2020 05:49 (five years ago)

2.4 billion does seem like a lot

𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔨 (caek), Friday, 23 October 2020 05:52 (five years ago)

google says there's like 100m domestic cats about probably less than that stray, so yeah i guess if there's a total of 100m outdoor cats and they are all just straight up killing birds non-stop 2.4 billion that seems doable. good for them.

birds are just the tip of the iceberg, they're fucking up the small land mammals

great, now we have to get rid of Trump AND cats

I don't think I realized how many birds there are

Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Friday, 23 October 2020 07:36 (five years ago)

That's because the wind killed them all.

Un-fooled and placid (sic), Friday, 23 October 2020 07:40 (five years ago)

Instant polls gave the debate to Biden by the same margins showing in the polls in general. CNN had Biden at 53% and Trump at 39%; Data Progress had Biden at 52% and Trump at 41%; US Politics had Biden at 52% and Trump at 39%.

Not to get too far from politics, but those numbers about cats are accurate, and it's not "good." It's actually Terrible for biodiversity.

healthy cocaine off perfect butts (the table is the table), Friday, 23 October 2020 11:40 (five years ago)

Also in the US: "An estimated 600 million birds are killed every year from collisions with some of the country's largest skyscrapers, according to research from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology."

Fetchboy, Friday, 23 October 2020 11:46 (five years ago)

I think I was at a webinar talking about alternatives that allowed birds to recognise glass fronted buildings were there or were collision risks over teh summer.

This is likely true of almost every debate in history. People are not rational actors earnestly paying attention to the issues and keeping close score. They are irrational morons who make instinctual decisions that they then support with "facts" they pluck from the ether. Iow, viewers see what they want to see.

He was very mean to Mr. Chamillionaire (PBKR), Friday, 23 October 2020 11:58 (five years ago)

I heard some post debate talk talking about how you needed a playboo0k for teh trump conspiracy stuff if you weren't a major fox/4chan/whatver consumer

Stevolende, Friday, 23 October 2020 12:02 (five years ago)

It seems this Mr Bob Dobalinksi is here to say that Biden does in fact know that his son has a business.

nashwan, Friday, 23 October 2020 12:09 (five years ago)

PBKR it's also the case that snap polls taken after debates can get quickly washed away by whatever media narrative springs up afterwards i.e. Gore sighing 'condescendingly' at Bush Jr during his answers. Viewers said Gore 'won', but within a week it was conventional wisdom that Gore had just imperilled his candidacy

Li'l Brexit (Tracer Hand), Friday, 23 October 2020 12:31 (five years ago)

"He used to be my moneygrip," Hunter Biden said of Mr. Dobalinski, "but then he stole my honeydip."
