Waiting in vain for all those ILXors outraged at Chris Christie being called fat to show even the slightest interest in this and several other posts in this thread. Oh, it was way, waaaaaay more insane than "someone on ILX pretended to die in 9/11" - what actually happened was that a then-ILX0r* fabricated the deaths of two 'friends in NYC' in order to garner sympathy, attention and compassionate leave from work - culminating in his throwing a 'benefit evening' at a Freaky Trigger club night to raise funds on behalf of two people who were very much alive and in Brooklyn at the time of the crash. Some ILX0rs even attended this event and gave money, before the ruse was uncovered.

*the ILX0r in question was my scary abusive gaslighting ex, forever since known as DJ Munchausen. He had every intention of just pocketing and keeping the cash, but someone *cough* alerted Tom E and Ptee once they found out, and got them to divert the funds to the Red Cross.
