If he exhibits no further symptoms (which is unlikely yet hardly inconceivable), it’s a definite win tho and his gamble will have paid off. Not enough to take it all in Nov, but it does afford him a fighting chance. So this is a last stand of sorts.

I don't really believe this. dude was helicoptered to the hospital on live TV and there's been days of coverage slamming them for being insanely irresponsible & knowingly exposing others to a deadly disease, not to mention the fact that the White House is a fucking leper colony right now and we still don't know the extent of the damage

secondly, if he "exhibits no further symptoms" that would mean either the doctors have been lying about the drugs he's on or that for some reason this 74 year old obese man has a different prognosis than every other hospitalized Covid patient on the planet
