xpost Biden is a challenger for president not an incumbent in an incredibly blue district might have something to do with itwho fucking cares? why should the campaign risk anything for a meaningless tweet? Omar's statement doesn't do anything more than his did

Is this a “Christ he is really bad try anything” deal
Consider. Once the virus has multiplied to the point of symptoms emerging the course of the disease is entirely a fight between the body's immune response and the virus' ability to spread into new host cells. All current treatments are simply attempts to ease the symptoms long enough for the patient's immune response to prevail. Trump is far enough advanced to show symptoms and he's very clearly a high risk individual, meaning his immune response can't be relied on to win that battle.
The monoclonal antibody treatment is still experimental, but it is the best available treatment that can directly boost immune response. They are jumping on it now because it is a binary yes-no decision and there is no virtue in waiting. The virus is already established and the sooner you act, the better the chance for the treatment to work.

You definitely don't care but I see Omar's statement as far more than fucking thoughts and prayers. It only doesn't matter because so little seems too xxp

in that bbc.co.uk story: the White House said, and was feeling "fatigued but in good spirits". yet I just watched Meadows in a statement to press, recorded earlier today, saying Trump was "very energetic". typical. can't both be true, so we are being lied to again.

Trump has had a long distaste for hospitals, and a distrust of medical treatments. Some of his closest allies note Trump wouldn’t allow himself to be hospitalized unless he absolutely had to.— Jennifer Jacobs (@JenniferJJacobs) October 2, 2020

I just had a flash of what it would look like for Trump to die while in office: the lying in state in the Capitol Rotunda, the Marine honor guard (none wearing masks, ofc), the horse-drawn caisson, all the solemn twaddle from media talking heads about a nation in shock and deep mourning.
The ritual pomp and dishonest eulogizing will be next to unendurable, but at least there would be other compensations.

Saw it reported that he was walked very slowly to his helicopter. Also saw posted that the White House apparently has its own excellent medical facilities, so the only reason to move to a proper hospital would be one of true concern.

heard a radio interview with the head of Mayo Clinic laboratories, kind of a bummer.so basically he says (totally paraphrasing here based on hearing this in the car so could have details off) that the experimental treatment, basically taking plasma from people who have had it and injecting it) is pretty promising, they've administered to about 250 pplno negative effects so far, is based on immunotherapy they do for cancer....got the gist he thinks it's on its way to getting approvedalso said that they have been finding that early intervention is reducing mortality across the boardwouldn't speculate why he went to hospital but did suggest it might be an abundance of caution if he were the one in charge
