Ums, you underestimate many ilxors' knee-jerk antipathy

I mean as terrible a person as he is he's still the President of the United States, if you work for the federal government you can't appear like you're wishing death upon him. if you find out the CEO of the company you work for is sick you can't publicly say "good, he sucks". Yes I know he 100% deserves it but a world in which this is acknowledged is a world in which Donald Trump is never elected president

privately though, fuck anyone who says we need to have an ounce of sympathy for him, particularly since this is the same group who strongly implies that every black person shot by a cop somehow deserved it for "putting themselves in that position". there is nobody on this God-forsaken planet who deserves to get COVID-19 more than Donald Trump. this isn't some sort of poetic justice, this is the direct consequences of his actions, and in fact the real tragedy here is that he's gonna get the sort of top-notch medical care that he's been fighting tooth and nail to deny the people who got sick because of him, even though those people pay more in taxes than he does.

I live in Wisconsin. We are getting fucking SLAMMED with Covid right now. Trump was planning to come here and now he can't. If he had come, it is a matter of fact that people attending that rally would have gotten infected. And they would've passed it on to hundreds of other people. And perhaps those people would've passed it onto people I know. The fact that he is not coming here is directly going to save the lives of people who are not irredeemable fuck-ups. and for that I can finally say, for once, thank you coronavirus

Death is too good for Trump. He needs to live well into the Biden presidency and face whatever reckoning is coming.

Plus we don't want Pence to ride a sympathy vote to a four year term.
