If you go to the garden and catch 100 red ants as well as 100 large black ants and put them in a jar, at first, nothing will happen 🤷🏼♂️However, if you violently shake the jar and dump them back on the ground the ants will fight until they eventually kill each other ☠️The thing is, the red ants think the black ants are the enemy and vice versa, when in reality, the real enemy is the person who shook the jar 🤯This is exactly what’s happening in society today Liberal vs ConservativeBlack vs WhitePro Mask vs Anti Mask The real question we need to be asking ourselves is who’s shaking the jar and why? 🤔

Imagine being born in 1900.When you're 14 years oldWorld War I beginsand it ends when you have 18with 22 million dead.Shortly after, a world pandemic,a flu called ′′ spanish ",kills 50 million people. You come out alive and unscathed, you are 20 years oldThen at 29 years you survive the global economic crisis that started with the collapse of the New York Stock Exchange, causing inflation, unemployment and famine. At 33 the Nazis come to power. You're 39 when World War II startsand ends when you're 45 During the Holocaust (Shoáh) 6 million Jews die.Over 60 million dead in total. When you're 52 the Korean War starts. When you're 64 the Vietnam War starts and ends when you're 75A baby born in 1985 thinks his grandparents have no idea how difficult life is,and survivors of different wars and disasters survived.A boy born in 1995 and today 25 years old thinks it's the end of the world when his Amazon package takes more than three days to arrive or when he doesn't get more than 15 '' likes '' for his published photo on Facebook or Instagram...In 2020 many of us live in comfort, we have access to different sources of entertainment at home and we often have more than we need. But people complain because about everything.Yet they have electricity, phone, food, hot water and roof over their heads.None of this existed in the past. But humanity survived much more serious circumstances and never lost the joy of living.Maybe it's time to be less selfish, stop complaining and crying.

Then at 29 years you survive the global economic crisis that started with the collapse of the New York Stock Exchange, causing inflation, unemployment and famine.
Uh, that's not how you spell ruinous deflation. Probably was getting the Great Depression mixed up with Weimar Germany. And yes, the 20th century sucked in lots of ways.

i’ll admit i was thinking along the lines of the first part of that macro just two days ago, mainly in the context of like, mass suffering has been the norm for a lot of humanity for a long time and i am personally lucky to have basically evaded that. so far. it IS a brutal succession of crises but most of european history has been.
― Li'l Brexit (Tracer Hand), Wednesday, 21 October 2020 18:51 (three years ago) link

But humanity survived much more serious circumstances and never lost the joy of living.
All of humanity, huh? This is meaningless. But what it tries to suggest is a pure fantasy. Lots of people in past centuries (just like today) felt very little, or no, joy in living. Joy is intermittent and rather rare even in the best and happiest lives.
