Trust me, I think many of us would move to Canada if we could. I certainly would, I have more friends in the Vancouver metro than I do in the city where I live

we seriously thought about Canada 4 years ago and were considering if Trump wins re-election (and maybe we still will) but since I live inn California I honestly think it's better to just never move from here. Unless CA starts shifting hard right, which is unlikely in my lifetime.

I would have a hard time leaving my friends. I have a ton of 15 year friendships here that I'd have a hard time moving to virtual only.

I think unless you are in a demographic that stands to suffer greatly under a new trump administration (ie: you are trans, etc) and can afford to leave, it behooves you to stay in the US and do whatever necessary to make life workable for those who will suffer but cannot leave.

the thing is, you DO have to run on court packing! that's the thing about making it clear, this very day, that if the GOP installs yet another corrupt SC pick, the democrats WILL add seats to the SC in 2021. run on it, as a campaign promise. make it clear to everyone that it's the plan. then win the election, and do it, with something that trump (and bush 2000) never had: a "mandate" from the american people to do something.

I want a better space to watch - that poll question is ambiguous. Do I favor packing the court? Right now, if trump does it? Or in the hypothetical future where Biden wins? Or just as a general stance?

That might be why 34% of republicans expressed support for adding more justices, which would almost certainly be a bad thing for them (they already have a majority)
