RBG was my favorite justice, and in fact I pretty much liked anyone who has or had a primary home and/or summer home in New Mexico

She graduated first in her class at Columbia U. Law School and couldn't get a job at a NYC law firm because she was a woman. She argued six landmark gender discrimination cases before the SCOTUS and won five of them. So, yes, she is a progressive icon, whatever any Canadian woman thinks.

as a canadian i'm confused as to why she's considered a progressive hero. she was one of the most progressive scotus justices but that isn't saying much.
