I would like a "bump all bookmarks" button next to "delete all bookmarks", that retains all my bookmarks but advances them to the latest post. "Mark all as read" in other words.

If a bookmarked thread is at the top of my screen for a long time and I keep putting off getting caught up, I take that as a sign to remove bookmark.

i like to think of it more as a placeholder, almost like a "save point" for reading, where you can resume where you left off

ohhhhh I had thought at first that this idea would mean you would automatically post "bump" on all yr bookmarked threads.

well if we did that it should post "Did we ever get this sorted?", of course.

It could be cool as a preference option in Zing to have bookmarks auto-update to the latest post, so you don’t have to tap to reset when you’ve caught up (like slack)
