Ronnie interview at Eurosport was hilarious and oddly moving.

Man, what a day.

Selby interview was fascinating. There is a degree of truth (that the commentary in the studio weren't acknowledging after, even though they were saying something like this when Ronnie was 2 down with 3 to play) to the way that Ronnie seemed to be chucking the game in. But Selby was really gonna clear that on one visit after being frozen out for 2.5 frames? And Ronnie's safety against Selby on those exchanges were utterly measured (as were the many exchanges at the beginning of the frame too).

Going to spend a long, long time processing what happened out there.

Think it's telling Selby calls Ronnie's Russian roulette shots "disrespectful". Selby's good snookers are what got Ronnie in that state of mind, where he was annoyed and almost threw the match. That's Selby's achievement, he should've seen it as a compliment and gotten down and dirty even more (he did once, when taking like 2 mins of "thinking" before finally deciding, yes, replace the white for Ronnie plz, it was just to annoy his opponent). All part of it imo.
