Yeah that I did not expect!

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 27 June 2020 04:29 (five years ago)

I also gotta say them being totally butched up bros for the SheMZ studio part was goddamn hilarious.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 27 June 2020 04:34 (five years ago)

I just realized that the lipsync assassin ruveal reminds me of The Chase.

trishyb, Saturday, 27 June 2020 08:06 (five years ago)

IIRC this week's winner competed with a broken foot in her original season.

None of the groups were any good, though I laughed the most with Alexis (stepped-on lines and all).

The runway was much better though! Who knew that India could pull off editorial? And Blair's mug!

AxoLOLtl (Leee), Saturday, 27 June 2020 21:53 (five years ago)

Blair looked like a couture version of being the tree in the school play lol

Lipsync was so good!! I could watch Morgan slay every day

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Saturday, 27 June 2020 23:15 (five years ago)

Something that's baffling me is how India isn't catching any votes.

AxoLOLtl (Leee), Sunday, 28 June 2020 21:34 (five years ago)

i feel like maybe it's because people don't see her as a threat?

here 1st (roxymuzak), Sunday, 28 June 2020 23:47 (five years ago)

she's also getting generally good critiques

here 1st (roxymuzak), Sunday, 28 June 2020 23:47 (five years ago)

Nothing India's done so far has struck me as egregiously bad, either.

Juanita was robbed (Eric H.), Monday, 29 June 2020 17:07 (five years ago)

Okay, first episode of Canada's Drag Race is up, anyone else watch? (Would have picked a different lip sync song, but yes of course, that artist.)

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 July 2020 02:35 (five years ago)

I haven't seen it yet because they're playing it on Crave here, which I don't have. But our homegirl Rita Baga's in it, so it'll be difficult to open Facebook without getting any spoilers. Hopefully the bars will start viewing parties soon (or I could just subscribe to Crave I guess.)

LeRooLeRoo, Friday, 3 July 2020 13:39 (five years ago)

I like how harsh the judges were. and Jeffrey Bowyer Chapman trying to imitate Ru's mannerisms

Is it filmed at the same location/stage as Ru's Drag Race?

self-clowning oven (Murgatroid), Friday, 3 July 2020 16:44 (five years ago)

Didn't look like it at all, honestly. Similar to how the UK set clearly wasn't the US one!

Ned Raggett, Friday, 3 July 2020 16:48 (five years ago)

Stacy was brilliant, but she was brilliant on ANTM too. Brooke Lynn's mediocre competence is really highlighted in how unpresent she seemed as a host.

boxedjoy, Friday, 3 July 2020 20:18 (five years ago)

Stunning episode of All Stars. Jujubee, Shea, Alexis, and Run were all amazing and very funny. I properly laughed at both Eartha Kitt and Flavor Flav. Ru's dress and makeup were so beautiful. And so much DRAMA! I loved it.

trishyb, Saturday, 4 July 2020 09:19 (five years ago)

that was honestly the hardest I've laughed during Snatch Game..... maybe ever?

vision joanna newsom (Stevie D(eux)), Saturday, 4 July 2020 14:19 (five years ago)

like Alexis's Walter Mercado was funnier than anything we get out of most Snatch Games and it was only the 3rd best performance

vision joanna newsom (Stevie D(eux)), Saturday, 4 July 2020 14:20 (five years ago)

All the drama, all the laughs, what a ride. And yeah, Alexis couldn't've pulled off being pre-publicity for the Mercado doc on Netflix next week if she and they had planned it.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 4 July 2020 14:52 (five years ago)

I don’t know if anyone follows YouTube drama, but bad timing for picking Jeffree Star!

Notes on Scampo (tokyo rosemary), Saturday, 4 July 2020 16:22 (five years ago)

it is ALWAYS bad timing to pick Jeffree Starr!!!!

vision joanna newsom (Stevie D(eux)), Saturday, 4 July 2020 16:35 (five years ago)

True!!!

Notes on Scampo (tokyo rosemary), Saturday, 4 July 2020 17:00 (five years ago)

I had no reference for Walter Mercado & Alexis slayed me... and Shea’s Flav...and Juju’s Eartha... i laughed til I cried

Anddd omg the DRAMZ

Great episode

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Saturday, 4 July 2020 17:27 (five years ago)

also real talk India Farrah was a total snore for me in this series & i am glad she’s gone but bless her for that stunt

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Saturday, 4 July 2020 17:35 (five years ago)

My favourite moment was Jujubee in her prom gear taking a quick sip of her drink and heading off to get the Goss, just like at a real prom!

If Shea doesn't win this whole thing now, with Jujubee a close second, well... I just don't know.

I felt so bad that anyone is laughing at Shea for losing out to Sasha in their series, and I love her for reclaiming that moment for herself.

trishyb, Saturday, 4 July 2020 21:19 (five years ago)

It's also interesting how drag itself has changed over the years. Those massive fake boobs that India favours are so old-fashioned.

trishyb, Saturday, 4 July 2020 21:21 (five years ago)

I felt so bad that anyone is laughing at Shea for losing out to Sasha in their series

Yeah that was *fucked up* to learn about.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 4 July 2020 21:27 (five years ago)

I'm watching Canada episode 2 right now (just started so I won't be spoiling anything) but if Jimbo a) doesn't make it to snatch game or b) play a kids in the hall character what are we even doing up here

TRANCED INTO RADIOACTIVE PUREE (Will M.), Friday, 10 July 2020 05:46 (five years ago)

Quite right. Fun episode but both those skits took way longer than I figured. Pacing!

Ned Raggett, Friday, 10 July 2020 18:29 (five years ago)

Good lip sync assassin choice, that.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 11 July 2020 04:32 (five years ago)

slayed. literally no-one else on stage but her

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Saturday, 11 July 2020 05:05 (five years ago)

I genuinely did not recognize her.

trishyb, Saturday, 11 July 2020 15:17 (five years ago)

It took me a couple of seconds too.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 11 July 2020 15:38 (five years ago)

i am annoyed that they sent alexis home
i kinda get why but i just dont rate blair that much. she hasn’t done anything this season except SAY how much she wants to win

i think alexis is better but thats obv not what they are voting on

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Saturday, 11 July 2020 18:02 (five years ago)

Definitely was a shocker, and I do love Blair. She's usually stunning and gives her all in the challenges, but last night she failed in both runways. Alexis's pageant kiddie pool gown was awesome.

LeRooLeRoo, Saturday, 11 July 2020 18:39 (five years ago)

right!?

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Saturday, 11 July 2020 19:25 (five years ago)

I do think Shea is objectively the best of them all, but man, I just love Jujubee and I wish she could win.

trishyb, Saturday, 11 July 2020 19:51 (five years ago)

same same

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Saturday, 11 July 2020 19:54 (five years ago)

lol I had no idea that was Roxxy until someone said her name

vision joanna newsom (Stevie D(eux)), Sunday, 12 July 2020 03:26 (five years ago)

i knew it was her right away

but she does her eyemakeup v weird now, i get that she is harder to recognize

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Sunday, 12 July 2020 03:41 (five years ago)

Yeah, I wish the All Stars tie hadn't already been used up last time around. Juju + Shea is a tie I can fully endorse.

Get the point? Good, let's dance with nunchaku. (Eric H.), Sunday, 12 July 2020 06:04 (five years ago)

Speaking of eye makeup, I ... died for Blair's mug this week.

Get the point? Good, let's dance with nunchaku. (Eric H.), Sunday, 12 July 2020 06:05 (five years ago)

her mug was gorgeous, it is true

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Sunday, 12 July 2020 06:15 (five years ago)

blair's runway walk and general way of moving is so awkward and gawky, it's kinda antithetical to the level of glamour she seems to be attempting to project

here 1st (roxymuzak), Monday, 13 July 2020 17:25 (five years ago)

so otm

her walk is very “Mother/Daughter Fashion Show at the mall”

terminators of endearment (VegemiteGrrl), Monday, 13 July 2020 17:26 (five years ago)

I like her very much, but she is not in the same league as the others. She should have gone home instead of Alexis. Alexis could maybe have bought herself another week if she'd been as generous with her sewing expertise as Shea was.
I actually can't remember if India was telling the truth about Alexis campaigning against Shea or not.

trishyb, Monday, 13 July 2020 17:50 (five years ago)

also: can anyone link me to proof of miz cracker ever actually being funny? please don't act like the pickle thing counts. the pickle thing being funny is a psy op

here 1st (roxymuzak), Monday, 13 July 2020 18:21 (five years ago)

she's like the bill hicks of drag at this point

here 1st (roxymuzak), Monday, 13 July 2020 18:22 (five years ago)

Miz was good with the TMZ scene, tho Juju still ran circles around her in bringing the funny.

Get the point? Good, let's dance with nunchaku. (Eric H.), Monday, 13 July 2020 18:24 (five years ago)

Cracker is funnier on Youtube, though she's been noticeably absent from it for the AS5 run.

AxoLOLtl (Leee), Monday, 13 July 2020 18:37 (five years ago)

i have no clue about the whole India vs Alexis drama except that I think that the truth is somewhere in the middle

also i am tired of it already lol
