A string of losses at the end dropped me into the E range for my rookie rundle. Despite hopes to maintain my position in the D range, I couldn't clinch it.

This was such a nice experience. Every morning, I looked forward to checking yesterday's match results, current standings, and puzzling over questions. Even felt a little disappointed when there weren't questions to answer on weekends. Really looking forward to next season.

Based on my performance in the first two-thirds of the season, I thought I was going to have a career-high QPct this season, but I didn't do nearly as well in the final stretch. I gather from the message board that this was not an uncommon experience.

I feel like I got more correct as the season went, terrible beginning better muddle/ending.

Getting promoted to C! One point away from first in my rundle.

I'm really pleased with how I did (as I expected, I solidified my standing and will move to C), especially considering that I stumbled out of the gate. I had the hardest schedule among the top 10 for much of the season (except at the end, where the combined winning percentage of my opponents was under 0.400), though I still had a winning record against players above 0.500 (7-5-3).

Yup. I'm looking forward to the General Knowledge Book Club ML, too. Seems like a neat premise.

I know everyone has different knowledge but the person I was against for day one of General Knowledge Book Club has a 76% get rate in Theater but didn’t get Six Degrees of Separation.

Which seemed easy to me, who has a 54% in Theater and was honestly surprised it was that high.

To be fair, movie trivia is my strongest category but I totally flubbed the Movie Pairs One Day.

That is weird about Six Degrees of Separation.

Turns out I am competing with a Type A today as well.

i was doing really well on the general knowledge book club (bouncing between 2nd and 1st place until i got my first loss on the last day and dropped into third) but i totally bombed the final. it didn't really seem to match up with the rest of the minileague since it was all book excerpts and no general knowledge.

I finished 1st in my group for Book Club but also didn't do very well in the championship. In a few cases I recognized the author/book but couldn't get to what the question was actually asking. Like, I knew Chuck Barris but not Gong Show, Phyllis Wheatley but not YWCA, and Fun Home but not "Ring of Keys."
