"I SAID FAYGO, FUCK MOUNTAIN DEW!"

ICP home alone in your l'il innah-city ghetto zone! (Eastern Mantra), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:05 (twenty years ago)

i miss Pitch Black. i can only find "Livewire". WTF, if i want fizzy orange drink, i'm drink Orange Crush.

also, does anybody remember all the ad-man talk two years ago about how "code red" was their "urban"-oriented drink?

kingfish superman ice cream (kingfish 2.0), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:10 (twenty years ago)

cherry coke!

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:11 (twenty years ago)

Can't wait for Cherry Coke Zero! (not confirmed, but hopefully)

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:12 (twenty years ago)

I want to try VANILLA SODA FOUNTAIN DR. PEPPER

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:16 (twenty years ago)

Count me in as a decidely Pro-"Code Red" Dew-niac. I don't know that I can justify it; it tastes like straight grenadine and makes your teeth squeaky afterwards.

Who Are You, Buster Gonad? (Bent Over at the Arclight), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:17 (twenty years ago)

Oh wait, Cherry vanilla sfdr.p

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:17 (twenty years ago)

So I've drank literally one sip of Mounting Do, like, since Luk4s was born. Which was in 1999. I had the worst case of cottonmouth of all time, it was like my cottonmouth had cottonmouth. That one drink gave me the most wickedest of headaches.

I AM NOT EXTREME...PROVEN BY SCIENCE.

nklshs @ other desk omg, Friday, 9 September 2005 20:18 (twenty years ago)

Spencer is right, though, Coke Zero is clearly the best thing to happen to soda in decades. I can't wait for them to put it in soda fountains at the movies and at restaurants!

Who Are You, Buster Gonad? (Bent Over at the Arclight), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:18 (twenty years ago)

Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper's disappointing to me.

Ian Riese-Moraine: Let this bastard out, and you'll get whiplash! (Eastern Mantr, Friday, 9 September 2005 20:23 (twenty years ago)

I do recall Code Red being heavily advertised on TV and radio by Busta Rhymes, but I don't know that that was so successful in getting "urban" people to drink it as much as it made me laugh, and also to drink it.

TOMBOT, Friday, 9 September 2005 20:26 (twenty years ago)

Is your 6 yr old son going to google himself?!

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:27 (twenty years ago)

Pleasant, when you gonna give us another trivia question?

k/l (Ken L), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:31 (twenty years ago)

I have drunk all the Mountain Dews

k/l (Ken L), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:37 (twenty years ago)

Your search - "flight of mountain dews" - did not match any documents.

gabbneb (gabbneb), Friday, 9 September 2005 20:46 (twenty years ago)

Pleasant, when you gonna give us another trivia question?

Is it my turn? Was it really Jimmy Hart?

I'd bet Jimmy Hart loves The Dew.

Pleasant Plains /// (Pleasant Plains ///), Friday, 9 September 2005 21:05 (twenty years ago)

From Snopes:

However, the uncola wasn't known as 7Up for the first few years of its existence. It was originally christened "Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda."

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 9 September 2005 23:15 (twenty years ago)

The Ghost of Black Elegance (Dan Perry), Monday, 12 September 2005 13:47 (twenty years ago)

Haha! Mr. Tombot! You have not experienced MOUNTAIN DEW X, an INTENSE NEW DEVELOPMENT in the MOUNTAIN DEW FAMILY! It is TO THE EXTREME and contains TAURINE! It is a test product only and NOT FOR RESALE! And yet I, with my high-level connections in the SNACK AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY, have imbibed thereof! Suck on that! Tombot! All hail the NEW DEW MASTER!

NABISCO HAS OUT-DEWED YOU, Saturday, 17 September 2005 19:19 (twenty years ago)

I hate you. I mean I love you, but I fucking hate you for the disruption to my life you are causing, man.

Allyzay knows a little German (allyzay), Sunday, 18 September 2005 03:44 (twenty years ago)

gygax! (gygax!), Monday, 19 September 2005 15:38 (twenty years ago)

I HAVE DRANK ALL THE FAKE DR. PEPPERS (and my kidneys have slowly disintigrated into a murky sugar-coated goo-like substance)

zaxxon25 (zaxxon25), Monday, 19 September 2005 15:53 (twenty years ago)

I still have not tasted the Pitch Black II in my pantry.

(I am also very thankful that the 'R' key on my keyboard works.)

The Ghost of Black Elegance (Dan Perry), Monday, 19 September 2005 16:15 (twenty years ago)

I have also had "Amp" but it is like $2.50 a can @ the only place I know that sells it. It is disappointingly conventional.
