was up at 2 am last night buying new washing up cleaners on e-bay and was reading some sponge and scouring pad reviews. The reviewer was complaining about a particular brand of pad that left scratches on their stainless steel pan. Like who gives a monkey's arsehole about scratching stainless steel and how does that have any adverse effect on cooking with it? I have a hand me down Prestige stainless steel saucepan from the at least the early 60's that gets scrubbed hard after every use and is all good! I abandoned teflon precisely because I was sick of having to be gentle with it and only fuck with stainless steel, iron and carbon steel now, and don't give a flying fork about the appearance of my cookware as long as it functions to cook stuff with who cares?

I agree that the "2020 Summer Jam Question" is thus effectively obviated but any music that brings me up right now is dearly welcomed and necessary. Similarly, any music that's trying too hard to be an anthem is unnecessary, yes.
